About The Job

  • Create and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, online help files, training materials, and other technical documents
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations: advise on knowledge placement, publication channel, communication specifics.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of UI strings and error messages. Ensure that the terminology in your deliverables is in sync with the product UI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and customer support representatives, to ensure documentation meets the needs of various stakeholders
  • Publish the information in a format suited for the information (for example, HTML, PDF, and online help).

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical writing, preferably in a software development environment
  • Possess a degree in English, Technical Communications, or a computing-related discipline.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent writing skills in English.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other tools/operating system, such as Adobe acrobat, Windows, Linux, Acrolinx
  • Familiarity with HTML, XML, and other markup languages
