Summary Of Role
This position is responsible for end to end hiring of roles in Malaysia and ensuring hiring forecasts and service level expectations are met. This position owns and manages the entire recruiting cycle from the time the requisition is received to the time the candidate is on-boarded, ensuring a quality experience for both candidates, external partners and hiring managers. This role promotes Maxeon Solar Technologies image to candidates and external service providers, and is also responsible for designing and developing, recruitment programs to improve Maxeon Solar Technologies employment brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for end to end hiring activities for Maxeon Solar in Malaysia for all job levels including sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing and job offer preparation and execution. May extend to other countries in APAC as needed based on hiring demand and volume of requisitions across the team.
  • Needs to leverages sourcing team and/or talent acquisition coordinators as required.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing recruitment programs to improve Maxeon Solar Technologies employment brand. This includes promoting Maxeon Solar Technologies image to candidates and external service providers.
  • Engage with immigration partners and government agencies as required to comply with processes for any foreign national employees to be able to commence employment.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable governmental regulations and acts as point person on engagement with EDB on headcount and hiring matters.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a quality experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the talent acquisition process.
  • Develops and updates talent acquisition reporting system to provide senior leaders with hiring updates.
  • Meets or exceeds key talent acquisition performance metrics, including but not limited to time to fill, pipeline and diversity.
  • Proactively identifies and addresses opportunities to improve operational efficiencies within the talent acquisition function. This includes, but not limited to, ensuring interview guides are updated to reflect Maxeon Solar Technology values and competencies.
  • Conducts new hire orientation and co-ordination of preparation of day 1 activities.
  • Ensures local country handbooks are kept up to date and provided to new hires as part of orientation process.
  • Responsible for providing employment data and/or statistics to government authorities as required.

Minimum Requirements
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition in either an in-house role or with an external search firm.
  • Excellent communication skills
