Job Description

A leading international HVAC organisation is seeking a talented Sales Leader (HVAC – Retrofit). In this job, you will lead, manage and supervise a team for the retrofitting segment.

About The Sales Leader (HVAC) Role

Reporting directly to the Service Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships to achieve customer satisfaction, maximise account penetration and customer in compliance with the company’s strategy. The role requires technical knowledge, customer focus, and ability to work closely with other departments and functions to deliver value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify customer needs and promote chiller plant room upgrade or retrofit offerings including chiller and its associated peripherals
  • Perform site surveys, site assessment and measurements, determine bill of quantity, attend pre-bid walkthrough
  • Lead and coordinate with stakeholders in preparing project proposals, including product selection, preparing costing and tender submission
  • Monitor project action progress regularly and meeting company set objectives
  • Manage budget within allocated project cost while maintaining work quality and productivity
  • Strictly observe company policies and safety regulations for operational efficiency

The successful Sales Leader (HVAC – Retrofit) must have prior experience in a sales/service sales role within the HVAC industry.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Building
  • Minimum of six years of work experience in the HVAC industry
  • Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components
  • Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge/experience in project sales and management is an advantage
