About The Client

Our client is a leading premier cloud partner expanding its services in ASEAN countries, with their ASEAN Region Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

About The Role

They are seeking a high-performing Sales Leader to join their Malaysia Team and drive customer acquisitions and revenue growth.

  • You will primarily be responsible for leading the expansion of company’s business in Malaysia through growth development of key account footprint and new account acquisitions.
  • You will be responsible for leading top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of their AWS Migration solutions, by establishing and growing business and technical relationships.
  • Your role will include driving C-level and Leadership relationships with your customer and work in close collaboration with Malaysia Team.
  • You will lead, guide and mentor local Sales and BD team towards success.
  • You will partner closely with the company’s cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to provide customers a first-class sales service experience, serving as the trusted anchor for customers throughout the entire sales cycle to post-closure.
  • Close coordination with respective company and partner teams (including AWS). Act as the single point of contact for Malaysia Sales and shall represent the brand.
  • Strategize, Develop and maintain a consistent and healthy sales pipeline, driving deal closures and company sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement company’s direct sales activities and prospects that expands company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence in Malaysia.
  • Lead Sales team in educating clients on the company’s offerings and identify possible scopes of solutioning.
  • Proper qualification of leads and able to provide accurate report on opportunities.
  • Conducting market research into accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Preparing Quotations and responding to proposals with the support of technical solutioning teams
  • Coordinating with company’s Pre-Sales teams to get solution details and budgets for respective work-scopes.
  • Managing contract negotiations involving legal, marketing and business terms
  • Maintain warm relationships with assigned accounts and new account acquisition.
  • Upselling company’s solutions and value proposition to both new and existing customers.
  • Acquiring understanding of market segmentation, develop, and execute Go-To-Market strategy for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate between different functional teams and serve as the point of contact for customers and vendors.
  • Build the team for strong presence and confidence/experienced in generating sales opportunities.
  • Always maintain good customer and partner relationships.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales goals by managing country’s sales activity.
