Job Description

Operations Project Specialist APAC

Location: Allianz Partners, Malaysia

We are looking for a customer focused, independent, team player with strong attention to detail to come join our team in Allianz Partners in Malaysia. The position reports functionally to Regional COO APAC, Allianz Partners. The position also requires to coordinate closely across the Health Operations and with various entities externally

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Remote support to the APAC Regional COO, based in Singapore
  • Coordinate & assist the regional offices in APAC Health Ops (8 locations)
  • Assist with the onboarding of strategic new clients/business into the business ensuring Operational requirements are delivered and the optimal operation processes are maintained
  • Support Operational Input into Strategic new opportunities/Tenders outlining Allianz Partners Health ability to meet any opportunity requirements
  • As part of our new Partnership fronting agreements, ensure optimal operation model is put into place to support the membership in those jurisdictions
  • Lead and co-ordinate additional strategic/ top priority projects involving multi-national teams and potential external experts
  • Prepare and assess on specific business case(s) upon demand
  • Assist with the development and management of detailed project/task plans, timelines, resource requirements and training as necessary
  • Effectively control project scope to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with specified deadlines
  • Prepare and present project results, including milestones, issues and problem resolution
  • Conduct and coordinate necessary analyses to ensure project success
  • Support the Operations teams in implementing project solutions
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to mediate conflicts and solve project related issues
  • Coordinate, attend and record conference calls and project meetings

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/ experience:

  • Fluent in English, a second/third language is a plus
  • Degree in Business administration or similar
  • Project methodology & qualification desirable
  • Relevant experience in project management, 5 years as a minimum, in the Insurance or Health TPA field
  • Legally permitted to work in the country of operations
  • Ability to carry out strategic communication internally and externally.
  • Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills

Behavioural Requirements

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and managerial skills and experience, with a hands-on approach; A penchant for being proactive
  • Knowledge of the industry and ability to manage a large operation
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, time management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus under pressure.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously.
