Job Description

About The Job Network Development & Training Head

Our client is a MNC automotive company with global presence and they are looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of Network Development & Training Head for its ASEAN markets.

The key responsibility of this position is to create and develop the distribution channel to support product coverage, sales growth, servicing of vehicles and market share objectives by successfully persuading new dealers and new entrepreneurs to invest in and provide infrastructure, enablers and resources in line with brand requirements. The incumbent is also responsible to guarantee the continuous improvement of the Network competencies in terms of commercial skills in coherence with customer expectation and brand strategy.

Job Responsibilities Include

  • Implement Network Plan to achieve the sales potential volumes of vehicles, spare parts and services in the area of potential new dealers.
  • Ongoing network development and expansion of network to support future market coverage objectives.
  • Ensure network compliance to brand CI, and strategise related investment requirement.
  • Monitor of new partner activation, Timelines, Infrastructure development, Vendor ordering
  • Support development of network policies and incentive systems to ensure distributor channels remain competitive and motivated
  • Monitoring of key metrices for network profitability, and implementation of strategy to ensure it.
  • Training and customer satisfaction Manpower availability as per business plan
  • Overseeing the training organization, creating / revising training programs, budget & vendor management
  • Evaluation of dealer – build evaluation principles, based on the training criteria that are reviewed every year, with the participation of the relevant units.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of Experience in Auto sales, network development & dealer training roles.
  • Articulate, Agile with prove track record in Auto sector
  • Experience in ASEAN countries will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, ability to speak regional languages such as Malay, Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese is preferrable and desired but not a pre-requisite.
  • Result Oriented & customer focussed
