Job Description

As a Key Account Executive (Junior & Senior) in the beauty industry, your primary responsibility is to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and maximize sales opportunities. You will serve as the main point of contact for these key clients and work closely with them to understand their needs, develop tailored strategies, and drive business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the beauty industry, strong sales and negotiation skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities

  • Key Account Management: Develop and nurture relationships with offline key accounts in the beauty industry. Act as the primary contact for these accounts and provide exceptional customer service to meet their needs.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets by identifying opportunities, creating sales strategies, and executing sales plans. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing key accounts and actively seek out potential new clients. Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to introduce new products and initiatives to key accounts.
  • Account Planning and Strategy: Develop strategic account plans in collaboration with key accounts to ensure mutual business growth. Analyse account performance, market trends, and customer feedback to develop customized strategies that address key account needs and objectives.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual agreements with key accounts to maximize profitability while maintaining strong relationships. Ensure all contracts and agreements are well-documented, compliant, and adhered to.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies, timely delivery of products, and effective management of customer accounts.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, account information, and market data. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Executive or in a similar sales role within the beauty industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the beauty industry, including trends, products, and consumer preferences.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
