Job Description

An HR Business Partner job has become available at a global FMCG company to support their commercial business in Malaysia.

About The HR Business Partner Role

You will provide HR support in deployment of the people strategy and plan and deliver HR strategy to meet the overall objectives of the commercial business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and foster strong business relationships with the business unit whilst actively identifying gaps and proposing and implementing changes to mitigate and minimise people-related risks
  • Lead key HR processes in support of the organisations talent agenda including talent review, performance management and succession planning
  • Support the rewards and benefit strategy to ensure employees are well compensated
  • Develop and execute an effective recruitment strategy to ensure that all budgeted and planned positions are filled with the right talent
  • Work closely with management and employees to drive initiatives that increase engagement, retention and productivity

To succeed in this HR Business Partner role, you need to have proven stakeholder management skills, be agile and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of four years of experience in HR
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak to senior stakeholders and weigh in on strategic decisions
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills; ability to form relationships at all levels in the organisation and interact effectively across the regional and global organisation
  • Effective in managing conflict and resolving problems, ideally before issues become problems
