Job Description

  • To perform gap analysis on the skills requirement in order to plan and organize training technicians & fitters in their development and career advancement planning.
  • To manage all staff and workers function within the department to ensure sufficient staffing who are qualified for the job.
  • To ensure machining works for parts & spares as well as equipment / machinery repairs are done according to specifications, quality and on time.
  • To make preparation for all repair needs such as planning, breakdown analysis, required tools, technical drawings, spare parts and the operation workflows before work commencement as well as implementing cost control measures through the process.
  • To utilize and update all information into the JDE-CAM system for equipment management and maintenance activities.
  • To ensure Preventive Maintenance & Autonomous Maintenance are executed and implemented and review from time to time for sustainability.
  • To ensure stock or availability of critical spare parts to prevent delays in repairs when needed.
  • To enforce safe work procedure, clean workplace and safe practices, where safety regulation, rules are adhered to with the necessary PPE issued to workers in order to prevent unforeseen accident.
  • To initiate, plan, coordinate & work closely with Process Owner for any improvement projects both internally or externally in terms of facilities and/or operation aspects.
  • To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management from time to time.


  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the engineering field, experience in Manufacturing industry is an added advantage. Prefer with mechanical or mechatronics background.
  • Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
